The first 4 Prototypes are all made of Carpenter XHP steel an excellent blade steel with approximate Rc of 60. all Titanium and steel stock are a hair above 1/8" thick some will have over lays and others will be raw titanium handles. All will be frame locks period! This is a slow process as I finish all the fixed blade orders at the same time as I work on these. This will be a regular addition as time goes on or as orders come in for them. SInce Carpenter XHP steel is very hard to get a hold of, future models will most likely have 154cm and s30v blades. Keep a sharp watch for this Bat winged Karambit wonder! Exact pricing to be determined but currently it's looking around $575

Just an update on materials used. In the past I've used many different materials and over the years I learned from hands on experience not to believe the "hype" about certain products. As well, not to use less practical materials for the tasks the tools I make would be used for. This of course is more of a personal preference than anything. So here goes.... from now on I will NOT BE USING ANY 

Exotic woods or wood of any kind

Bone or horn

Leather, skins or hides of any kind

Micarta (except in rare cases)

High carbon steels

Precious metals or stones(jewels)

Now here's what I do use almost exclusively... in some cases exclusively.

I will on occasion use other stain resistant steels but 154cm is my main squeeze. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Absolutely no knives will be made by me of the above mentioned materials.
